April Lockhart

April Lockhart is a born on July 4 in 1995. As a seventh-grade student she began to take guitar lessons and piano lessons. That ignited her enthusiasm to write songs. When she was in seventh grade, April began taking guitar and piano lessons. It sparked her interest in songwriting. In her 14th year April was a big devotee of her day singing and writing songs. In the following months, April started taking trips across NY and LA with her Dad to help them compose songs. April began to include additional relevant subjects into the Take my Hand song for some friends, such as peer-pressure problems and suicides among teenagers. Lockhart, a popular lifestyle influencer as well as working in partnerships with brands that are clean and healthy like Ilia she has gained an impressive fan base. The truth is that she was born without a left hand and that is what makes her different. However, this isn't the only aspect that makes her unique. Lockhart's Instagram account doesn't ignore the fact that she has a disability. It also doesn't make it a point to emphasize her disability. It's a message. The message? That we are all multifaceted, and that our identities and physical self aren't as appear. Lockhart speaks through video from Nashville. "I do not intend to let it define my life. I don't want to be only identified as a specialist in disability. And it doesn't affect my everyday life. I go about every day as normal and have found my own way to adjust to things. However, I also consider it to be a vital component of my life. Lockhart is a huge example to other women in the area of self-acceptance. Yet, she confesses to going through periods of feeling uneasy about her appearance as well as wearing clothes that showed her arms. She wears whatever she wants and posts photos of herself in the outfits she wears on social media. Self-love for her was an extended process. However, that is common for anyone who has insecurities. It's my opinion that having those with you who understand you and can see the depths of your soul is vital since they'll be those who will remind you what you worried about?

One child was strapped onto my back, while one crawled inside the playpen. I spent 12 hours days for months sanding and taking wallpaper off, all with one child. Ha!
