Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October 1967 in the home of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is part of four generations of the Robertses to reside in the Atlanta area, starting with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. She inherited her father's interest in the theatre at a young age. While an undergraduate at Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. The air force was drafted in 1953. During his time working in Biloxi Mississippi, he appeared in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was an air force member as well. The two married in 1955. Their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. In 1957, the couple left the Air Force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. In 1960, the couple moved into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning show on local TV that was aimed at children, known as Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. They also were paid. They later founded the Actors and Writers Workshop which continued for six seasons. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also referred to as Lisa) as well as Julia (also named Julie) during this period.
