In accepting the Republican vice-presidential nod Cheney declared that he's looking forward to working with an administration that will strive to get things done by working across the political aisle and working with political opponents in good faith and common goal. Richard Bruce Cheney born Jan 30th, 1941 in Lincoln Nebraska, the son Richard Herbert Cheney the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. At 13 years old, he left the state of Nebraska. old, he relocated together with family members from Nebraska to Casper in the western part of Wyoming and his father was the director of the local district of soil conservation in the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
