Richard B. Cheney a notable public servant and entrepreneur is vice-president of the United States. Cheney a familiar face in the Washington scene of politics and has been under various U.S. presidents George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush. He will serve as the fourth president and will be the elected president. Bush picked Cheney in July 2000 to be his vice-presidential running mate, noting Cheney's judgment and insight. Dick Cheney served as the chief of staff to a president. He also served as an elected Member of Congress and was secretary of defence. Both Republicans and Democrats admire him for his honesty and integrity. Cheney says the position he will play in the Obama administration as of a frank but discreet adviser to Bush. Cheney has accepted the Republican Vice-Presidential nominating in 2007 stated that the he would be looking forward to serving under a president that is able to work across party lines and collaborate with rival political parties with goodwill and a common purpose. Richard Bruce Cheney born Jan 30th, 1941 in Lincoln Nebraska, the son Richard Herbert Cheney the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. After 13 years of age, old, he relocated with his family to Casper within the Western part of Wyoming, where his father directed the district for soil conservation in Casper for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
